Love this beautiful solstice peace. As a linguist I am intrigued by this facet though felt a little disheartened that examples of earth as feminine really only included two examples as all Latin derived languages simply kept a derived Latinate form. How about Celtic? I see it is masculine there. Hmmph.

it's a fascinating deep dive. in the past, lexicographers have taken a colonial view - codifying language / culture in relation to the dominant culture's view (e.g., the Scots-Gaelic dictionary created by an Englishman).
