I’ve received a few emails about the sudden shift in tone and length. So, I thought I’d address it in a “bonus article.”
As a modern author, I understand the importance of developing a strong Substack presence to extend my reach and grow my audience. To achieve this, I am now focusing on the search engine optimisation (SEO) of my articles. By incorporating these strategies, I aim to improve the visibility of the AutSide in search engine algorithms and attract more readers like you to my Substack.
When creating content for the AutSide, I now keep SEO in mind. I research relevant keywords related to autism and strategically include them in my titles, headings, and body text. This helps search engines understand the topic of my content and rank it accordingly. However, I am cautious not to overuse keywords, as this can be perceived as “keyword stuffing” and may negatively impact my search engine rankings.
In addition to using keywords, I now practice the intentional repetition of key phrases and ideas throughout my AutSide articles. This repetition reinforces the main points of my content and helps search engines identify the central theme of my writing. By consistently focusing on my core message and repeating key concepts, I aim to improve my chances of appearing in relevant search results and attracting readers interested in autism and related topics.
Developing a successful Substack presence takes time and effort, and I am committed to consistently creating high-quality content that incorporates SEO best practices and engages you, my target audience. As I grow the AutSide, I will continue to refine my keyword strategy and adapt to changes in search engine algorithms.
Thank you for being a part of this journey with me.
